University of Wollongong

The GAF scholarship program at University of Wollongong (UoW) aims to support high achieving undergraduate students to study at the university.

The George Alexander Foundation Residential Scholarship commenced at the University of Wollongong in 2018, providing five merit-based scholarships annually to undergraduate students beginning their first year of study

The program aims to support high achieving undergraduate students, especially (though not exclusive to) those from regional and rural areas. Potential GAF scholars will be able to demonstrate academic ability, community involvement and leadership experience.

From 2018 to 2020, five scholarships will be awarded annually, each valued at $24,000 over three years.
