The GAF scholarship program at Australian National University (ANU) aims to assist high-achieving students from rural and regional backgrounds with the costs associated with moving away from home to study at their Canberra campus.

The George Alexander Foundation Scholarship Program will commence at Australian National University in 2018, offering five merit-based scholarships annually to undergraduate students beginning their first year of study

The program will focus on providing support to high achieving students from regional and rural backgrounds, with leadership capability and a demonstrated commitment to community and study.

From 2018 to 2020, five scholarships will be awarded annually, each valued at $24,000 over three years.

Further details on how to apply for a scholarship can be found on Australian National University's website.
