Mr Paul Conroy appointed Chief Executive Officer of The George Alexander Foundation.

The Chairman of The Ian Potter Foundation, Mr Charles Goode AC, is pleased to announce that Mr Paul Conroy has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of The Ian Potter Foundation and The George Alexander Foundation. Mr Conroy will commence in his new role on 6 March 2023.

Paul Conroy has experience in both the commercial world and the not-for-profit sector. He holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of Melbourne. Mr Conroy's professional experience includes practising as a solicitor, working as Chief Legal Officer/Company Secretary of Treasury Wine Estates, and various other roles in industry.

Before joining the Foundation, Mr Conroy was Chief Executive Officer of FareShare, a social purpose organisation engaged in transforming fresh food into nutritious meals for people in need. Mr Conroy has also served as Chairman of the Summer Foundation.

In welcoming Paul Conroy as the Foundation's incoming Chief Executive Officer, Mr Goode also expressed his appreciation of the outstanding contribution of Mr Craig Connelly to the Foundation over his seven years as Chief Executive Officer.
