Join our inaugural GAF Street Soccer team!

Calling all Melbourne-based GAF scholars and alumni! Want to get active, network and support a great cause?

Justice Connect’s Homeless Law team is partnering with The Big Issue for a socially-inclusive Street Soccer tournament. The afternoon will bring together people who have experienced homelessness and housing insecurity, professionals working in philanthropy, health services, law and members of the community.

When: 12 – 3:30 pm, Wednesday 20 November

Where: North Melbourne Community Centre, Boundary Road, North Melbourne

Cost: FREE + Bonus t-shirt!

You will get to take part in 3-4 fast-paced 5-a-side games (skill isn’t a pre-requisite, only enthusiasm!). Players will be provided with a GAF soccer team t-shirt to keep and a BBQ lunch.

Each team will join forces with 1-2 players from The Big Issue Street Soccer Program to compete for soccer supremacy.  Curious? Watch a recap of last year’s tournament!

To form a team we need 6 or more scholars, fellows or alumni to sign up by Thursday 31 October.

Want to join? Email Nina at The George Alexander Foundation to sign up today.
