The George Alexander Foundation Regional Scholarship Program at University of South Australia

The George Alexander Foundation Regional Scholarship Program commenced at the University of South Australia in 2021. The Scholarship Program was established in recognition of the challenges faced by regional students attending university away from home.

Three scholarships are awarded annually, each valued at $24,000 and paid in instalments during the scholar's degree.

The scholarships are open to commencing full-time students from regional or remote areas who are relocating to pursue an undergraduate program at the University of South Australia's Adelaide campus.

All GAF scholarships recognise students who can demonstrate academic merit, community involvement and leadership capability.

The confidence and backing of The George Alexander Foundation ignited an increased sense of purpose and resolution in my academic endeavour.
