In November 2022, The George Alexander Foundation Board of Governors hosted a 50th Anniversary Commemorative Dinner at The Ian Potter Queen's Hall, State Library Victoria.

The 50th Anniversary Commemorative Dinner celebrated the enduring legacy of George Alexander AM and the partnerships The Foundation has forged with its scholarship and fellowship program partner institutions.

The evening's celebrations included speeches from Professor Alec Cameron, Vice-Chancellor and President of RMIT University and GAF alumni community members Brenda McKinty and Michael Dal Zotto, who generously shared their respective scholar and fellow experiences.

The celebration featured the workmanship of GAF Fellows.
